The FITEL S121 series mass fusion splicing machine is FITEL's latest addition to its hand-held splicing series. It's designed for splicing single to 4-ribbon fibers. Like the other S121 models, it is about one-third the size of a typical mini-splicer, weighs just 2.2 pounds without the battery and does not require a flat surface. A detachable fiber holder system is available. Please contact FAI directly for more information regarding this new product.
The unit features fully automatic fiber feed, alignment, splicing arc, and tension test. You can monitor all splicing operations for accuracy using the unit's integrated CCD camera and 2.5-inch LCD display.
